   This a terrific course to play if you’re lucky enough to be in Tahoe. I always play on a special deal through a third party, so it can be more expensive otherwise. At any rate, it worth the price. the course is “up their”-6,000 ft el. so the ball goes far. Even so, this is a good test of golf with challenging holes and a beautiful layout. It is a seasonnal course and can be subject to frost delays early-almost at any time of year,but it always warms up quickly. The pace can get sticky at times because it is very popular in high season.I’ve never played the more prestige course at Edgewood, but I’ve attended the Celebrity Tournament a few times and to my eye, Lake Tahoe Golf Course is every bit as dramatic and spectactular in scenery.The club house and lunch facility is very good.I rate it a must play if you can.
