1 thought so.
The conditions at twin oaks are usually pretty good, the greens are smooth and roll fairly true, they are usually receptive but not too soft and bumpy. Fairways are nice but sometimes can be a bit over watered, in my opinion, but I am partial to firm and fast conditions.
I am not a big fan of the layout here. The course is very short for the most part and does not offer much variety as far as shot selection goes. It is tight on a few holes but for the most part is pretty wide open. Higher handicappers would probably enjoy this one more than myself.
The pace of play is o.k. at best. It seems like they get a lot of play and the course is usually packed. I have had some longer rounds here.
Customer service here is good, beverage cart on the course, nice bar area to grab snacks, food, drinks. Staff is friendly and knowledgable.
The practice facilities are good. They have a full driving range, putting, chipping green.
Overall, I think it is an o.k. course but nothing to write home about. Not bad but there are better ones around.

The soil underneath the sod is clay at Twin Oaks, so if you overwater it, your feet tend to float around during your swing.
They used to have a great greens keeper years ago who kept things firm. Too bad they went back to their old ways of overwatering otherwise it’s a good course.
