I like this course. I lived near here for several years and played this course a lot. It has only a practice green and bunker , so warming up is hard to do. It not unusual for everybody to hit two tee shots off the first tee and nobody seems to mind. I usually play blue tees here and do ok. The course is in good shape and the last time I played there, they were making multiple improvements including new bridges over the creeks-some on which can contain spawning salmon (not to mention golf balls) and remaking bunkers with new sand. They also cut down a huge tree that use to guard the eighteen green. I don’t normally like trees in fairways (it’s hard enough just to make good shots all the time) but that tree was like a landmark and I was sorry to see it go. I played here one time with a teachng pro, 1 former Canadian tour player, and a Nationwide tour player and they played from the tip of the tips(back of the back tees). They drug me along with them, but I found the back tees just hard enough to make it interesting. It is a beautiful setting with Redwoods and a “West Marin” feel to it. The club house is nice and they do weddings, etc.
