This course is a step back in time. The old club house and lunch counter are like a movie set. The course itself may not appeal to young power hitters because most of the holes aren’t particularly long. At times the course seems a little ragged, but I like the small greens and the hilly terrain as you work your way around. Many people walk this course, even older guys, which leaves you time to enjoy the veiws of downtown San Diego. The practice range leaves a lot to be desired. This course is worth a round or two a year and if you have visitors, its a good place to see some history.
