This is one of the best deals in town.The setting is unique. The views are spectacular.The price of golf is one of the fairest I’ve ever seen. The course is usually kept in perfect shape. The greens are smooth and true. Presidents have played here. It is a “pleasant” course to play with reachable greens for all levels.Many holes run along the water and its easy to get distracted by a sailboat cruzing by. The down side is it is a very popular course with a beautiful clubhouse and excellant resturant. I’ve seen locals come in just for the ambiance. One of the nicest things about being near the water, it is cool and breezy even on the hottest days. As for a real test of golf, I couldn’t say, but I did play here one time with a guy who had been on (some?) tour as a pro and he was honing his game playing here. All in all, it is worth the drive out to Coronado, just get there early.
